Yellow Fever Flowers

yellow_flowers.jpg Flowers mark the grave of a yellow fever victim in the burial ground of Christ Church, Philadelphia. This cemetary first opened in 1719 and contains the graves of five signers of the Declaration of Independence, including Ben Franklin. The day I visited, volunteers were giving free "yellow fever" tours. I don't want to say it was "fun" but it was certainly very interesting.
