Watching the ducks march in and out each day, on a red carpet, guided by the "Duckmaster," is truly absurd. My first thought: Whoever dreamed this up must have been drinking. A lot. And then I read the history of the ducks and, yes, the duck march actually WAS dreamed up during a night of heavy drinking by the hotel's owners back in the 1930's.
